This is a 6 week program that gives kids a chance to experience CrossFit and learn the fundamentals while having a lot of fun.CrossFit is a place where everything is made of awesome! Where the only limits are the ones you place on yourself.
Crossfit Kids takes the time to teach proper movement patterns and good mechanics which translates to physical literacy, strengthen sports performance and can lead to fewer sport injuries for kids. Regular physical activity is known to benefit cognitive functions and overall health in children which can lead to many benefits in all facets of their daily lives.
Our Crossfit Kids class is for kids ages 6-12. Our coaches differentiate the learning for every child that signs up for our classes. They will all do the same movements but at a level that is safe and challenging for them! We want every child to leave our kids class feeling empowered and strong.
Course Focus
Fundamentals of squatting pushing, pulling, jumping and basic lifts
Standard Class
-Warm up (games and fun focused)
-Skill work (learning basics and strength movements)
-WOD (workout of the day, incorporating skills learned)

Members of Crossfit Kids will be exposed to classic CrossFit movements such as the fundamentals mentioned, as well as kettle bell movements, wall balls, plyometric box work, agility and accuracy drills, all done with an emphasis on fun and developing a lifelong love of fitness.
